Our Christmas!
I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas. I think I had one of the saddest Christmas' I have ever had. The Sunday before Christmas, Owen was sitting at the bar on a stool being silly...I seriously walked away for two seconds and he fell down. He cried forever and we decided two hours later maybe we should go to instacare. They did X-rays and told us to get to Primary's right away because he broke it on his growth plate and he needed surgery ASAP. So I can't stop crying and Chris is telling me to stop because Owen is going to be more scared...Whatever. Owen whispers to me "mama I am going to be perfect." We cruise up there and that surgery that they told us we needed ASAP ended up being dealyed for about 15 hours so we had to stay in the Rapid Treatment Unit over night. So finally Christmas Eve Owen had his sad little surgery. They stuck some pins in them and put him in a splint. Next week he gets a hard cast. They were so good to him up there though. His nurse wore a Santa Hat and Owen fell in love with him. They gave him a build a bear all decked out and a huge christmas stocking filled with toys and candy. I took some of the cutest pictures of him in his cute little hospital pajamas laying in the big bed with his arm all bandaged up...but to top of our christmas....Chris was playing around with our camera and accidently deleted about 50 pictures i had taken in the last month. But Owen is doing awesome and he is dealing with only having one arm...we are so thank ful that is all we have to worry about. I don't know how Kristina can work at Primary's and see all that she does and not want to cry every night. She is a strong girl. But Owen came home for Christmas which made it wonderful.

Wow, either you had a very sad Christmas or I am a big sap, because I just cried reading your blog! I am glad that Owen is OK and that he was home for Christmas. We had camera drama over Christmas too....no fun! Love ya!
Oh my gosh Holly, I am so sorry. Was it the growth plate in Owen's arm? I would have cried too. I'm glad he's doing better now though. You'll have to post the pictures so we can all seem them. Besides that I hope you had a good Christmas after you all made it home.
Holly, I was so sad to hear from your mom that Owen broke his arm. It sounded so ridiculous on how the hospital took care of it! i hope he is doing better and was able to enjoy his Christmas. We all missed you at the party. I found out you have a blog and so do I. I put your blog on my page, I hope you dont mind. This is our site. http://natalie-thejohnsonfamily.blogspot.com
Love you all!

Oh, Holly, I'm so sorry! How is Owen feeling now? Poor kid. It's so sad when your kids get hurt. At least it's something that will heal. I'm sure he'll be back to his regular self very soon. These holiday's haven't been your best ever, have they. Next year will be better!
