I ran across these pictures and thought oh my goodness it has been 3 years since Owen's 1st surgery. It just shows what a freaking happy kid he is. These are the morning after and he couldn't even open his eye...but was all smiles (and slober). He was 9 months and had a cyst growing on his brow bone so they wanted to remove it...because it was possibley cancerous. We were so fortunate that this is all that has ever been wrong with our baby. It really makes you appreciate all your blessings when you are at Primary's and your son is just getting a little plastic surgery. But at the time we were scared...we didn't know what it was entirely...but it turned out to be nothing and he has just a little tiny scar to show for it. I just love this little man.

Oh my gosh, I'd totally forgotten about his little surgery!! I remember you were pretty freaked out about it though. Cute pictures of little Owie.
I hardly even remember him that little! Love that chubby baby face! He looks so much the same, just without the baby chub! What a cutie pie!
Holly - I had no idea that little Owie had a cyst. I am so glad that everything was taken care of. I told my mom that Owen and Brendan need to play sometime so we will get ehm together soon!
What a cutie! I totally love his chubby cheekers!!
Yes I do, but everything is a - ok! We found it a few years ago, your parents know about it! Or at least Holger and sharon did. I had fainted and had a seizure and was taken to the ER and they did nothing for me there, so my dad being the crazy parent he is made me get checked out because I landed on my head first when I fell. They found one behind my left eye and that is what I was telling me friend Anika because she was talking about her glasses and getting use to them, I have a hard time focusing on a fast pace movie because of it. So glasses help me too! No worries, the worst thing that could happen is I go blind in one eye. Knock on wood! I get MRI's every year to make sure I am ok! You are sweet to worry!
Do you love how quick I respond, I have no life!
I can barely remember him being so little....and what a cute little chubby boy he was!!! They grow up WAY to fast!!
