How is it that I forgot how tired you get in the first trimester? I remember with Owen they told me it goes away. Does it...cause I honestly can't remember?
I hate how nauseated I am all the time. I sometimes wish I could just throw up to get it out of my system. The worst is when I am hungry I get nauseated...but nothing sounds good.
Heartburn...never got this with the first one. And it sucks. I don't think I have ever had heart burn. I almost called 911 cause I thought I was dying. Since I didn't get this with Owen...I am assuming this is a girl:)
Can I eat susih? Or is that just a No No! Cause I ate some and then I thought about it...that might be bad?
I remembered that the only medicine I can take is Tylenol. Well I had the worst headache ever so I went to the store to get some...and all they had is Tylenol Extreme. Can you have extreme when you are pregnant?
Also I thought I heard car seats expire? Is that true? Do they have an expiration date on them? Where do I find it? How do I know? I still have the one from Owen...and it's like new...but maybe it's too old? Anyone ever heard that before?
And last but not least...anyone ever been to disneyland prego before? I heard I can ride all the kiddie rides...but am I out everything else? Guess I don't have to leave Owen screaming this time whenver I go on a big ride. Sucks!
No one tell me to call my doctor....no way am I looking like an idiot! I already had a kid...I should probably know all of this.

Tired- does not go away (gets a little better in the middle, then bad at the end again).
Rides-small are probably okay.
Heartburn-malox and zantac. I promise, it works like a charm!
Nausea-eat a piece of bread or something like that to help.
Suchi-don't know.
Tylenol Extreme-don't know.
Car seats expire- don't know.
How many pregnancies is this for me again? Love ya Holl!
I was really tired the first trimester and then it went away.
I didn't have heartburn so I can't help you there.
I ate crackers when I got nauseated
I ate sushi a couple of times but wanted it much more (big craving)
I have heard car seats expire after about 4 years...you better look into it,I will talk to some people then get back to you.
You make me laugh Hol! Don't feel scared to call and ask, better be safe than sorry. Plus I think every Dr will tell you something different. Here are my things..
Tired- I don't think I've gotten the way tired thing that everyone talks about.
Rides- Not sure?
Heartburn- I've only had it maybe 1or 2 times and Tums worked fine.
Nausea- As long as I had some OJ before I took my pretnal pill I've been fine with the nausea thing.
Sushi- My Dr. told me to just stay away from the run down places. I've ate it and usually just had stuff that wasn't totally raw. I think you're fine with rolls, there's not much in there.
Tylenol- I bet extreme is fine. My Dr told me anything Tylenol based is fine.
Car Seats- No freaking idea! That's lame if they expire.
I'm a newbie at this but it sounds like it doesn't get any easier. Hope you feel better soon!
Holly, first of all congrats! I didn't know til now. I am so sorry it feels so long away, I know how you feel.
Tired-don't know how to help except take small power naps.
Heartburn-I take pepcid but I would still check with your doc. He may have another opinion. It works wonders for me.
Nausea-I take Zofran 8mg since it's not safe for me to vomit. It is amazing. However, it is exepensive and a lot of insurance companies don't want to pay for it. It's really not that expensive for pharmacies to buy but they are still charging tonz for it. Costco sells 30 pills for $44.00 which is a steal compared to Walgreens and Alberton's $800.00 price. Wal-mart charges around $130.00.
Sushi-would never touch the stuff so I am no help there. I've heard shellfish is bad.
Tylenol Extreme- I don't know what else is in it just stay away from Ibuprofen and aspirin.
Car seats-YES they do expired. Weird, I know. You will find your date usually underneath it, maybe under the padding. I believe most are good for about five years. We had to buy one for this baby. They seem to be a lot more expensive than 6 years ago.
Rides-I went to Disnyland pregnant and yeah, it's pretty much those small rides and it's a Small World After All that are recommended.
Never, never feel dumb to call your doc or his or her nurse. It's you and your baby who are important right now. If you need a nurse you feel comfortable around my last doc with Hadley had a wonderful nurse. Sorry I sound like a mom.
I am so excited for you. I saw that Val is pregnant too. How fun you guys are really close.
I totally know how you feel! My doctor probably dreaded everyone of my visits from all my questions! Now our poor pediatrician has to deal with me, it's crazy how much you forget!! I'm sorry you're feeling so nauseous, I heard zofran works wonders. I wish I would have known about for this last one, it would have saved me. For my heartburn, I carried a costco sized bottle of tums with me everywhere I went, and that seemed to work pretty good. I was too afraid to call my doctor over the weekend about the tylenol thing, and drove around to 4 different stores until I found the normal kind, but I heard the extreme is okay, if you only take 325 mg per dose. Our pediatrician told us car seats last for about five years. Okay, sorry for the super long post...hope this info helps some! Hope you feel better!!
You are pregnant too! That's so exciting! We're so close in weeks. I am 13 weeks...due Oct 23. I am just starting to not feel like I have motion sickness 24 hours straight, so I hope it stops for you soon too! The tired thing is getting a little better too. Sorry I can't give any advice, I really don't have any experience other than what's happening right now :) But I am totally empathetic! Hope you feel better and have fun at Disney Land!
Hey! On the baby stuff- don't ask me. I've had one and am still clueless. I just was mostly excited to hear that you had Angels & Airwaves on your blog :)Yeah!! So glad that you like them!!
So, I cant help you on any of these. I love how tylenol as the extreme formula, as opposed to the extra strength. I guess if you have an extreme headache instead of an extra bad headache then you will know exactly what to take. Have you ever heard the Jerry Seinfield on this subject? Well, I love you and keep pushing forward. A girl would be fun...but us Tillmann's love boys!!!
P.S. Your background is so cute and I love your baby counter...so classy!!! That's the one I want to use when I get pregnant!
Holly you're so funny. Being pregnant is like riding a bike that you keep falling off of. So here are my words of advice... for the nausea get ginger caplets and take 2 of them 20 minutes before you get out of bed with a piece of bread and a glass of water. Also never let your stomach be empty. My OB told me that if you eat a small HEALTHY meal/snack every hour you are awake it will greatly reduce the nausea as well as give your body the energy to make it through the day. For Heartburn you can take zantac or pepcid but be careful because insomnia can side effect. I also took a children’s calcium supplement (Animal Parade Calcium, you can find it at Vitamin Cottage if you have them out there). Tylenol products are ok when taken in small doses. A trick I learned while pregnant with Brea is take only 1 Tylenol with 1/2 a can of coke. The caffeine works like a booster. As for sushi just be careful, there is mercury in fish and that is the danger to the mom and baby. On your car seat if you Google the brand and model you can see if a recall was ever issued. If you are not sure call the maker's helpline and they can tell you if your seat is still safe. And lastly if you keep a good attitude about the whole pregnancy and just relax it will go by smooth and fast.
