37 weeks baby! So freaking excited to be done! not so freaking excited to have another kid! So I had my lovely appointment today and I guess because the baby isn't growing as fast as they want and I lost a pound this last week they are having me go in for an ultra sound tomorrow. I didn't have my normal doctor today...so I think this doctor is just a little more paranoid...I am sure my doctor would have just told me it was normal or just the position of the baby. I was stoked I lost about after the three I had gained last week. I am way excited though to do the ultra sound to see what he looks like this far.
Oh and I need some help. Two things actually. One...what can a girl with a huge belly be for halloween? And the other...what kind of stuff do I need to bring to the hospital when I have this baby. I know dumb...I have already done that...but really do I need anything other then clothes for him to come home in? and for me...is there anything that any of you wish you would have brought but didn't or anything that you were so happy you brought. I know lame...but help!

Well, if it were me, I would definately bring my make-up so I could look decent for pitures. That's just med. For Halloween you could wear huge pajama's and be a baay. Maybe that's kind of lame.
Make sure you bring your camera and if you have a boppy I thought that was nice to have (I had Dev bring mine to me when he left one time). I actually came and left the hospital in the same outfit, maybe because I was in such a hurry already in labor packing and all but really you barely wear your own clothes when you're there. Although I did bring a pair of PJ pants and my own sweatshirt. Oh and don't forget to bring your car seat. You can't take the little guy home without it. Anything you forget you can always have Chris go home and get. I'm so excited for you! let me think about the Halloween costume.
Trashy magazines are nice because you can look at all the pictures but not really have to pay attention to what you are reading. Toiletries. Camera. Car seat. PJ's. Socks in case the delivery or recovery rooms are cold. Last time I brought some treats. I also brought my pillow because I like it better than the hospital pillows. VHS or DVD movies (if the tv in your room takes them).
Oh DVD's good idea. I think Chris and I watched 12 hours of full house last time. Maybe I need to rent the first season of Enterouge.
How'd the ultrasound go today Holl?
Don't forget your toothbrushes :). I just remembered that was something that we forgot to pack (again I packed in a huge hurry) but luckily the nurses brought us some to use :). You should make a list in case you have to pack in a hurry too.
Hol- You should just wear some scrubs for Halloween and get some Dr stuff. Be your OB that's going to deliver your baby! You'd be comfy and they are one size fits all. Just a suggestion! Can't wait to see you.
I saw a prego nun once I thought that was funny. Be a cheerleader!
