My baby is 6 months old. Isn't it so bitter sweet...I hate that he isn't a cuddly little baby anymore...but his personality is coming out and it is the cutest. Luke just had his check up and he came in at 17# even and 27 inches long. He is such a chunkster that I thought he would be more then 50% on weight...he was 75% on height. I can't remember his head...but it seems fine.
Luke is sitting perfectly...hates laying down now. Right when he wakes up he wants to lsite up. Hates his swing now because it doesn't sit up all the way.
He is reaching for everything...and of coarse if he gets it...it goes right to the mouth.
He smiles right when he wakes up and never stops. He will make noises till you look at him and then smile. Love it!
He is so ticklish. His legs, tummy, underarms. In fact when he got these shots she was holding his leg down to get the shot and he giggled. She said it was the first time she has ever gotten a giggle out of a baby while giving their shots. The other shot...not so funny.
Loves Owen...if O is in the room...no one else exists. He laughs so hard at him and follows him with his eyes where ever he goes.
Luke finally got to eat some food...and so the doc told me to start with sweet potatoes...which owen loved...luke not so much. I guess I have to keep trying but most of it ends up on his bib.
As happy of a baby as he is...he will not sleep for very long. He takes a few cat naps through out the day...maybe lasting 20 minutes. The only way I can get him to sleep at night is if he is cuddled tight in his carseat. I know that is so bad...but I try to let him fall asleep in his play pen or crib...but he just wakes up. The bad thing...he doens't wake up crying...I just can't sleep if he isn't. But I promised the doc that I would put him in his crib and let him fall asleep on his own...no matter what. So hard.
We sure are loving this little man.

Good post on your little man Hol! I love how he so ticklish and laughs all the time. SO CUTE! Funny that the Dr. made you promise you'd put him to sleep in his crib. Can't wait for lunch next week.

That's crazy - giggling after a shot! My kids all scream - and Brock's the worst. Thanks for checking up on me on FB... how's your never ending "journey" going? Sorry I didn't come to the last weigh in. I knew there was no point.
