So Owen starts preschool tomorrow! So nervous! Reason being...he isn't 100 percent poo trained. Potty training...he can do...but number 2...not so much. He could do it, and has done it...but at the time refuses to do it. What is up with that? We serioulsy have bribed him, praised him, punished him (just took toys away that he got in the past for doing the deed)...but it all works for about 3 days and then nothing. I don't get it. So I opted not to tell the preschool teacher...hoping that he either goes before, after or just holds it in. Was I wrong to not tell her? He is four...and needs preschool. I am hoping that being around other kids...he realized that it's normal and that all kid's go in the toilet.
Other anxiety about preschool. Owen is hilarious and is a story teller...but some of the stories he tells inlcude Chris and I. The bad part or good however you look at it...they aren't true. Is he going to sit there and tell his teacher all these stories about Chris and I and she is going to think bad things. Some are not bad...like today Carolyn called to see if I was okay, because apparently when moving Owen's bed down stairs I fell all the way down the stairs and hit my head really hard. The only true part of that is that we moved his bed down the stairs. Other stories have been that Owen told Carolyn that his dad spanked him cause he spilled a coke on the carpet. Owen did spill the coke...we told him that is why we don't drink in the living room...but we would never spank him. So before, I thought these stories were hillarious...cause Carolyn knows him and us and we get a good laugh. Now I am scared I am going to get a knock on my door from Child Family Services. Suck!

He's such a funny kid! I'm sure the teacher will learn that he's a story teller! And as far as the poop issue... just have him wear a pull up, and hope for the best! It's only like 2 or 3 hours, right?
OMG holly... you make me laugh so hard. That owie... hilarious. The boys are starting preschool too and I don't think they have to be potty trained to go (it is at the elementary) but they are doing o.k. at potty training and the main reason I am going to tell them that they are still working on it is so they can make sure they go... but with not telling them about owen and his poop, maybe it will be a "learning" time and it will make him go... good luck!
You are so funny, Holly! I'm sure it'll all be okay. I love that Owen is a story teller. I love listening to kids made-up creative renditions of whatever is going on at home.
You're funny Holly! I'm sure everything will be fine. Preschool teachers have seen and heard it all! Good luck!
Avery told the entire primary, at church, that a man snuck in her window and cut her neck off...anyone that knows kids, knows they are full of crap.
So Holl, how'd his first day go??
I'm waiting to hear how the day turned out too? What happened? Any poo? :)
